History speaks volumes and therefore deserves the highest standards of preservation. This is what is happening at the University of Memphis Department of Leadership with the WCCES Archive Project.
Established in 1970, the World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES) is an organization of comparative education societies worldwide as well as an NGO in operational relations with UNESCO. WCCES represents a global effort to promote and coordinate cross-boundary scholarship of comparative, international, and development education. In March 2014, the WCCES Archive was transferred from Kent State University to the University of Pittsburgh and then afterwards to the WCCES Archive on Mendeley. The historical project is led by Dr. James Jacob, WCCES Historian (2013 to the present), and a team of researchers.
